Ancient, sweet, and beloved: no wonder even bees can’t resist me!
You’ll always find me where there’s a celebration. In Piedmont, I’m well known as Moscato di Canelli, Moscato d’Asti, or Moscato di Strevi. Elsewhere in Italy or around the world, you may know me as Moscatello, Moscatellone, Muskat, Moscato Reale, or Muscat Blanc à Petit Grain. My sweet and sparkling wines are famous everywhere, and my youngest sibling, Asti Secco, brings a crisp, drier twist to my beloved grape!
Let me introduce myself: I am an aromatic vine and my grapes are golden yellow and grow in tightly packed clusters.
Where do I thrive? You can find me all over the world and in many Italian regions under different names.
Here I give my best: In Piedmont they call me Moscato Bianco, Moscato d’Asti, Moscato di Canelli. The most important wines are produced in the Province of Asti, Alessandria, Cuneo.

Where do I shine? You can find me in 1 DOCG, 28 DOC, 102 IGT.
My signature wine
Asti DOCG, Moscato d’Asti DOCG
Did you know? I am one of the oldest vines in the world. The romans called me Uva apiana because bees loved me. Ape means bee in Italian!
