From sweet Mass wine to an intriguing discovery, I’m now loved by Langhe’s winemakers!
I’m a rare grape. I was once used to make sweet wines, including Mass wine. Then, I was set aside in favor of more productive varieties, but not entirely! A few passionate producers kept small rows of my vines, and now their successors have rediscovered just how intriguing and full of personality my wines can be. Today, some of the most important winemakers in the Langhe are working with me!
Let me introduce myself: my berries are large, golden-yellow, and covered with a thick skin.
Where do I thrive? In Piedmont, especially in the Langhe.
Here I give my best: The best expressions of me come from Novello, a charming village in the Cuneo area.

Where do I shine? You can find me in 1 DOC wine.
My signature wine
Langhe DOC Nascetta.
Did you know? I’m also called Anascetta or Nas-cëtta. Watch out for my name; it’s as unique as I am!
